Faster viewer, better points of interest, and feedback improvements

December was mostly about stability and speed. The viewer had picked up some rough edges under load, and this month most of them got addressed. A few new capabilities came along for the ride.

Faster viewer, lighter on memory

The viewer is noticeably faster now, especially under load, and it uses less memory on long sessions. Pages that used to drag while the data loaded come up quickly.

We also fixed slowdowns on iPhones during floor-plan animation, and a display glitch on the virtual-tour overlay.

Points of interest show their detail

Points of interest on the floor plan now carry enough information to fill out their popups in the viewer. An earlier version shipped the markers without enough context to show anything useful on tap. That is fixed.

Feedback comments redesigned

The comment flow in the feedback tool (used when you review a shared viewer with a client or team) was redesigned. Comments open in a single drawer instead of a stack of overlays, and the layout is cleaner. Comments from guests who aren't signed in are now partially hidden, so anonymous notes can't be read out of context.

Simpler unit editing

The unit editing form in the dashboard was reorganized. A new field lets you set a custom message on a unit, which then shows up in the buyer-facing detail view. The form itself was cleaned up to cut clutter.

More navigator settings

The floor-plan navigator has more options you can configure, giving you more control over how it behaves in the viewer without anyone touching code.
