The viewer takes shape

February was spent tearing up the early model of a development and replacing it with something that could actually hold a real project. The old flat "property" structure gave way to three levels: estate (the overall development), building (a block within it), and apartment (an individual unit). The navigator, the interactive floor plan layer, got its own footing with images, shapes, points of interest, and video nodes.

None of that is something you'd see directly, but it's what everything visible now sits on top of.

What landed in February:

  • The viewer page shipped. You can open a property, see the floor-plan video, and browse a live table of apartments alongside it.
  • Clicking a shape in the navigator highlights the matching unit in the table, and clicking a row in the table highlights the shape on the plan.
  • The dashboard got its first real structure: an estates list, an organizations page, a users page, and a per-estate detail page.
  • Secure logins were wired up end to end, so accounts are protected the whole way through.
